Overview & commitment

Kovallent Inc. ("Kovallent," "we," "us") is committed to protecting the privacy and security of our users and enterprise customers. This policy details how we handle information processed by Kovallent Studio, kv-cli, and our Cloud Audit Engine.

Data collection & metadata scope

What we process (metadata only)

Account Information: Work email address, name, job role, organization name, and authentication tokens (OAuth).
Repository Metadata: Abstract Syntax Tree (AST) structure, parameter contract signatures, file directory trees, linter results, and CI/CD pass/fail flags.

What we do NOT collect or store

Dataset Contents: Kovallent never accesses, reads, ingests, or stores rows, records, or PII from your underlying cloud data warehouses, data lakes, or databases.
Source Code Storage: Kovallent's Cloud Audit Engine parses repository AST metadata in isolated, ephemeral memory sandboxes. Your underlying raw source code is never permanently stored on our servers.

Strict Disclosure: Kovallent does NOT sell customer metadata, nor do we use customer source code, repository structures, or parameter contracts to train public or proprietary AI/ML foundation models.
